Delman Coates: “New Abolitionism” event to create a moral economy

October 31, 2017 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

Personal note from Heather:  I’m fascinated by a new campaign that my friend, Rev. Delman Coates, is launching to draw attention to what creates the energy of scarcity and debt in the money mechanics of our current financial system and to call for a “New Abolitionism” to pursue monetary reforms that are more compassionate, just, and socially responsible.  He is hosting a one-day conference to educate the public about the relationship between monetary policy, poverty, inequality, and a range of social and economic issues facing our country.  Delman and I explore these issues in podcast Episode 004, to be released on Nov. 1st.  We invite you to learn more by joining this symposium as well.  Registration is free but RSVPs are requested (and more details can be found) at https://newabolitionism.eventbrite.com
