Camp Soul Force Politics Retreat Oct 13 & 14

We are excited to announce our inaugural kick off of Camp Soul Force Politics and we invite you join us at Apotheosis Farm for a discussion on timely topics inspired by the courageous acts of civil disobedience undertaken by water protectors at Standing Rock against the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL).

For this special engagement, Soul Force Politics is honored to host Paulette Moore, a filmmaker who documents these experiences in her newest film, “The Eagle and The Condor: From Standing Rock With Love.”

This film will inform and inspire our conversations and encourage us to explore what it means to radically love our planet; how indigenous ceremonies help us heal ourselves and the world; and what legacy teachings from Standing Rock can instruct our best advocacy today.

See the entire program below for more information.  RSVP inquiries should be directed to firestarter@mizmaryland.org to confirm availability and receive instructions for tuition payment.  Participation will be limited to the first 20 confirmed attendees.

And if you cannot join us because of a conflict with this date, or the spots get filled before you are able to RSVP, know that this is the first of many meaningful retreats for our supporters throughout the coming year!
